The material for semiconductors mainly has the electrical resistance among that of a conductor and a non-conductor. The resistance of semi-conductors also is affected by changes in temperature or added “impurities”.

Such diodes are present in all units of up-to-date electronic equipment for example tv sets or stereo units specially to sign the standby state.
The extent of thyristors manufactures was governed by Moore's law. Lithography is the most important point of making complex power semiconductor gadgets at smaller price. For optical lithography is already outdated, there's these days a tendency for other technologies. Semiconductors are believed to be a special class of chemical elements. In the first time that unique class was found in the 1890's but more thoroughly it started to be researched just after the First World War in Europe and in Soviet Union. The first successful research was carried out by the Russian scientists in 1923. They proved that semiconductors may be used to generate fluctuations. There was no opportunity to create some sophisticated devices as igct. Just in the beginning of the 60's with the invention of transistors in 1949 the wide use of crystal detectors started. That was the start of the era of semiconductor technologies.
Many scientists carry out a huge amount of experiments simply to gain more knowledge about such feature of semiconductors as stimulated emission. It caused the creation of semiconductor laser device based on usage of p - n barriers and then on heterojunction.
